Chesapeake Print & Book Arts Fair
The Chesapeake Print & Book Arts Fair returns to downtown Havre de Grace on Saturday, May 9 for its 4th edition, transforming the 200 block of N. Washington Street into an open-air marketplace for the print community. The fair takes a broad view of the craft — celebrating ink on paper in all its forms, from traditional letterpress and bookbinding to comics, zines, and relief printing. 17 vendors from 5 states and DC will bring letterpress prints, hand-bound books, original comics, handmade paper, notebooks, greeting cards, and stationery — all made by hand on vintage presses or drawn from scratch. Featured vendors include Sargent-Thamm (papermaking from decommissioned US flags), Mason Jar Press from Baltimore, Paper Moon Bindery from Philadelphia, and Lead Graffiti from Newark, DE. Free admission. Hosted by Glyph Stationers.
